SURFACE TRANSPORTATION BOARD

The Surface Transportation Board today announced additional information in preparation for the upcoming hearing regarding Union Pacific (UP) embargoes. The notice sets the schedule of appearances, the time allotted to each speaker or group, and provides specific instructions for panelist participation.

The public hearing will be held on December 13 and 14, 2022, in the Hearing Room of the Board’s headquarters, located at 395 E Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20423, and will begin each day at 9:30 a.m. ET.

The schedule of appearances for the two-day hearing and the time provided for each speaker are listed in the appendix of the decision. Any panelist who wishes to make a visual presentation at the hearing should email a copy of the presentation to the Board at no later than December 9, 2022.

Persons interested in viewing the hearing are encouraged to access the hearing on the Board’s YouTube page, as there is limited seating in the Hearing Room. Members of the media should contact Public Affairs Officer Michael Booth at (202) 245-1760 if they plan to attend the hearing in person.
